Nostalia26, a Free Wordpress Theme

Nostalia26 » Forget about sidebar! 4:48 am on July 23, 2009 Permalink
[...] Nostalia26 introduces Topbar in place of the classic sidebar. Topbar it’s just like the sidebar but, as you guess, is situated in the top of the page. It’s also hidden and you can open/close using “topbar button”. To customize your topbar use widgets from you wordpress admin panel. Posted in: nostalia26 | Tags: topbar, widgets [...]

Hey, digg the theme.
Where did you get the menu script for your menu on all your pages(the green pullout menu)?

How do I add a left sidebar to this theme?
Rather have a sidebar instead of the topbar…
Other than that the theme is great!
Corey 2:51 am on August 13, 2009 Permalink
Like what this guy did http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/4868/screensqg.jpg
but he does have the navigation (older entries/previous entries) links.

@Corey
Thank you. I will create a nostalia version with sidebar and I really like those rounded corners.
Corey 12:21 am on August 16, 2009 Permalink
Awesome, I look forward to seeing it…

I’m liking the look of the theme,
But being able to add stuff to it (ie: Image Header) is a pain in the arse.
And the “Topbar” sidebar causes conflicts with things like Lightview, or other jquery stuff. I agree with Corey, it would surely be better with a sidebar (wigetized) or the menu you display on this site(iambogdan.com)
cheers

How come when I use this theme it adds a Custom Header Option to the appearance tab, but when I hit update options it does change anything??
Marshall 3:19 am on September 28, 2009 Permalink
Nevermind, I see the option page was added when I altered the Theme Funtion file.

halo sir, i liked the simplicity of your theme and will use it ifor my upcoming blog, one thing crossed my mind, does this theme compatible with WP’s threaded comment feature ? or wordpress 2.8 ?
thanks !

I’m having compatibility issues with IE7. (And I’d assume IE6 as well — testing now.)
The topbar contents are visibile before it is dropped, and the header title gets trimmed.
